Xianxia Dressing Room

[ Xue Xian makes his way through the crowd, some exasperation in his grin, a zongzi held in each hand. Gaze glued towards the river as he watches a boat speed along, he walks over to a spot and starts speaking to the person there without even glancing their way. ]

It's pretty great that they're still keeping this up. Kind of busy, but I'm not going to complain about humans being properly respectful.

[ He holds out one of the zongzi towards the person and turns just as he takes a big bite of his own, and that's when he freezes in place as he finally realizes this isn't the person he left standing here a few minutes ago. After a moment he speaks through a full mouth. ]

You're not that bald donkey.

[ Xue Xian swallows and retracts the offered food. ]

Did you see where he went? Monk, bald and wearing white? About this tall?

[ He gestures with one hand. ]
